Kinda Misty
SOLD
Honey, the dog, is bounding up the track. She has that prancing gait she gets when she is super happy to be out in the bush again. If we are lucky, we will see the local flock of red-tailed cockatoos. It is cold and the watery winter sun is sitting low behind the trees. There is not much warmth in the sun but it filters through the trees and catches the tops of the bushes. The regrowth of the bush is verdant after last year’s burn off and the wet winter. I drink in the smell of the damp forest and marvel at this beautiful place.
Kinda Misty is painted onto marine ply with acrylic paints using a pallet knife and various mark making tools. Its surface is glazed with a gloss medium and rubbed with wax to give it a soft glow.
