It was strange that after having a great time in the limited pallet excercise I really struggled to get back the playfulness and freedom. Everything just finished up in a gray mush. I realized that what had happened that I started putting expectations on myself and was just trying too hard. After I destroyed the painting and walked away for a day I came back to it and started relaxing and having fun again.
